Do you like the idea about the radiography in the airports?
I don't like it.
No, it's very useful and good that nobody will be able to take explosives in the flights. If one flyes one time a year, I would suggest to give him his radiography that he can give it to his meditian and control his health. :-)

But.
Different years the science says, it's dangerous for health to make it (radiography) more than 1 time a year.
How about those who has to fly some times a year?

E-Ticket For The Next Flight

In one of my previous posts Is It Posible To Plan A Trip With Iberia? I began to tell you about the vacation my husband planned for next month. I can't know, if they read my post in Iberia but after that torture I described you, suddenly the things changed for the best. They changed the flights 2 times more, yes, but at least they did not obbligued me to call their paid client service. They understood, they can perfectly communicate me the non essential changes via e-mail.

Well, now the day of the departure is for the door. And there are some important things to remember. Passport and travel tax. I forgot them completely.
First of all we have to remember to control if the passport is valid. My god, do you think it's clear as the daylight? Yes, but not when your mind is full of problems: the last gifts, little things to buy, PC that does not work, gas and wood and ... Everything to repair, to control...
And if your flight is on Monday and you remember about passport and travel tax on Friday...

But I wanted to tell you about e-tickets.
It's the greatest invention of the era of internet, believe me. I remember those times, when I had to go in the capital to buy flight tickets for my vacations. There were terrible queues, I had to stay hours and hours, days and days there, to reach booking office.

Now I find the flight in internet, I book it. It's not necessary even to print the mail with the confirmation. I print it, but nobody asks for it in the airport. It's enough to show the passport. Great! The flight ticket is the confirmation of your payment. Nothing more. I really LOVE e-tickets.

The only thing you have to look carefuly is when you book your flight. Some companies do not accept e-tickets. And it's written near the information about the flight. So, if you have to receive your flight ticket by post, you need to book the flight at least a month before the day of departure!

And the last good thing of e-booking is e-checking. :0)))
It's possible to choose your place in the airplane sitting for your PC. It's important if you have preferences or your flight is long and you don't want to disturb the sleeping persons that sit near you, for example.

Is It Posible To Plan A Trip With Iberia?

First of all I can answer the question: NEVER plan a trip with Iberia!!!!

About 3 months ago my husband asked me to see how much cost flights to Buenos Aires. He was born there and wants to visit his relatives. I opened some sites of low cost flights agencies and than companies and suddenly found a possibility to go in Argentine and to return with only 600 euros. If you know the prices, you understand that it was a great fortune for us.

One month later began something incredble: every 1-2 weeks we receive mails that the flight was cancelled and we have to contact Iberia to change the date of the flight. Today we received an other mail and it is the 4 (fourth!!!) change of the flight:

	Stimato Cliente: Le informiamo que per cause operative,il suo volo IB6845, MADRID EZEIZA del giorno ... ha modificado l'orario. La preghiamo di mettersi in contatto con noi. Grazie.

The most interesting in this story of changes is that we have to contact every time a paid number of telephon and to speak with a representative about 30 minutes-an hour to find the best solution of change.

Now the question is:

HOW MUCH will cost this flight if there are 2 month till the vacation else and if Iberia will change the flights every 2 weeks, for example?

PS.

I called Iberia paid Client service (14,26+20% per minute). Could you imagine what was the reason to obbligue me to call them? Sit hard on your chair.

Our Luggage Story

Well, you buy your beautiful, comfortable, modern luggage, and you like to use it, and you go proudly in the airport between others that take proudly their precious luggages. Than you pass check-in, take your airplane, arrive in the city where you are going and... discover that your precious luggage did not take the same plane that you took some time ago. This is what happend to my husband on 28 December.

Some days before he turned home he told me by phone about the things he bought. He was so happy about the jacket he found. He looked for this jacket everywhere but could not find the model he wanted. And finally he found it!!!! Oh how happy he was!!!! Then there were some other things that is possible to buy only in Argentina, and then there were some things for me that I do not find in this zone where we live.

On 29 of December I went in the airport of Naples to meet him. First the plane arrived later as it had to. Than, when we knew that the pane is in Naples, the passengers did not come out. We all who waited for this plane did not know what to think about it. Finally they came out. Without luggages. Because they, luggages, were not carried in the plane.

Fortunatelly, the luggage of my husband was protected with plastic and had insurance. He learnd to do it after his luggage was opened in Naples a year ago, and the thieves took everything they wanted to take. From other side, he saw how an airport worker lost some luggages he had to carry to an airplane, and they remained under the rain on the road.

Because I waited for my husband more than 3 hours I had to pay 14 euros for parking. Than we had to come in the airport 5 days later for control and paid other trip and parking. That trip was only to leave signature and to know that there are not notices about this luggage. We had to send letters to Alitalia (second time he flys with this company and second time has problems with his luggage), we had to pay an incredible quantity of calls because nobody wanted even to repeat what we have to do, I don't say you to explain or to listen to us... The cost of this luggage was every day nearer and nearer to the piece of gold of the same weight.

Suddenly, at 16 of December, Lost Luggages Service of airport of Naples called us that the luggage is there now.When my husband went to take his luggage there, he found mountains of luggages inside and outside the little room of the office. Fortunatelly his one was safe. But one German man found only some pieces in his. Others were crushed...

All this happend because company Alitalia had it's problems. Finally was found a solution for it and the luggages arrived.

I thought about those musicists from Nebrasca that came with the same airplane with my husband for concerts in Italy and their instruments did not come with that airplane. What can they feel, these poor musicists? And what have they received after 20 days of Alitalia-problems?

Thoughts and facts about airlines

I promised it to you time ago but had problems with my PC and Internet, so I can write about it only today. And there are different notices to tell you.

So, I begin with the list of the best low-cost carriers (Forbes)

This year I travelled much with these type of companies and think they are good. The only problem I had was with EasyJet.

I prefer to buy tickets via Internet and there was written in my ticket: "Go directly to embark". I waited about 5-7 hours in airport for my flight and went directly to embark so as was written in my ticket. But it was not true. I had to register before and I didn't do it. If I felt good in that moment, maybe I had time to read more information in the time I had to wait, but I felt very bad and could not think about anything.
So I missed the flight because the confirmation mail had not right information.
And nobody from this company wanted to speak with me. For the team of EasyJet did not exist this passenger. The money they received from me, so what do you want else?

Other companies look for their passengers, call you 10 times to come to the place of embark, wait for you even if your airplane has to fly - so was with me before, with other companies, and this was the first time in my life that the customer service was so bad.

But the same EasyJet I found between the 3 best low-cost carriers of Forbes. The first is Jetstar Airways and the second is AirBerlin. In Europe.

What was the difference from low-cost ticket and normal price in one of the airplanes? Our places were in the tail of the vehicle and we had to buy coffee if we wanted it. The difference in price was about 200 euro for 1,5 hours flight.

The other notice is from Sweden.
In some of airports you will leave your finger-prints to check and then receive back your luggage. They say, it will help not only with terrorist's danger but the check up will be much more quicker and sure.
Something like this want to approve UE for the flights too. From February all the passengers will pass 3 types of control.

In airport of Naples they said me to undress completely (I don't joke) when a woman customs official saw a bottle about 30 ml of oil in my bag. Later I new that the law allows 50 ml of liquid to have in the bag. Without show striptease to presented persons.
