Some acts in nature come and go so quickly each year, I am afraid I might miss them. That's why I am happy to report that as I type this, I can hear loons calling--which of course will happen all summer--and that we recently got to hear the spring peepers. The chorus was not as loud as it will be, but these early providers did a fine job.
